As some of you will know I’ve been trying to write an article about the Cholera outbreak in Hull during 1849. It was going well until it was derailed by the current pandemic. At some point in the future it will hopefully get on track but for now, sorry.
However I decided at an early stage to widen the subject to cover the disease outbreaks that occurred in the area. So expect the story to include the Black Death, Justinian’s Plague and other assorted disasters. Not many laughs but hey, you can’t have everything.
